8:48pm: I wrote this article about meeting JT & Casey of Hawthorne.
I'll be bashed by kids at my school, most likely, but I don't think I can stand writting about another local band, that either doesnt play anymore, or who broke up like a month after i do this full article on how amazing i think they are. The last paragraph isn't done. I don't know where that will lead. If anyone wants to read and be a critic let me know. I don't want it to be about whether you like Hawthorne or not, I want it to be abou my writting. Also, let me know about spelling mistakes or gramar if your picky!

12:58am: Yellowcard & Hawthorne Heights
TONIGHT WAS WBRU SUMMER CONCERT SERIES SHOW WITH YELLOWCARD & HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS. ITS ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS IVE EVER BEEN TO.
AND IGNORE THE CAPS, THATS JUST MY MOOD. IM NOT YELLING. IM EXCITED.
YELLOWCARD WAS JUST, I DONT KNOW!
I MET CASEY & JT FROM HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS TONIGHT!

anyway... to the show. when we got there, we got pretty damn close. and were just standing there waiting for hawthorne heights to come on, and such. and i turn and look, and Micah, from Hawthorne is standing there with a guy from WBRU. and i was like KATE! that's the gutarist from Hawthorne, i swear. i wasnt positive, but it freaking was. me and kate were kicking ourselves that we didnt go over and say hello. but hawthorne came on, and totally blew me away. the first time i saw them live, i hated them. but this show just proved me wrong. they got me sining along with them. I got great pictures.


when yellowcard came on, kate went nuts. as did I & everyone else in the entire place. It was so amazing.

they played only one. i almost cried. thats like my favorite song by them ever. but it was so funny. there was one song (im not very good with song names) that they played accoustic, and ryans like "when this song starts, everyone grab someone and make out" and no one really did. but the funniest thing is that these two girls made out, and ryans just singing, and then hes like "...please don't forget the night that we played in providence and these two girls made out to our song" and he sang it as if he was singing the real song lyrics. it was hilarious. and then this girl was flashing the boys her bra. and sean & ryan are like THAT DOESNT COUNT. so she flashes them for real, and sean just squeels, "BOOOBIES". and ryans like this shows going down in the record books.

One of my favorite moments of the night, is when they played ocean ave. Ryan said "I love the look on peoples faces when they hear the begining of this song" and then Ryan M. started playing the intro. I can see why he likes the reaction.

Sean blew kate a kiss, and waved to me & thanked me, because we kept screaming that we loved him. repeatedly. :]

by the end of the show, i was so tired and thirsty. we met up with kate's mom, then left our stuff with her, and went get a drink.

so we're walking past Game Stop, towards the food court, in the providence place mall, and freaking matt from hawthorne heights walks out, all huried. and kate goes. THAT'S THE GUY FROM HAWTHORNE. by the time we turned around, he was gone.

So we figured, eh, down for the count. we missed to of the guys. we were even talking about how we'll never meet anyone famous... and then BAM~



our original intention was going into Newbury Comics to get a yellowcard tee-shirt. but that's not what happened. as we got closer to the first set of CD racks, we realized that CASEY! was standing there, just browsing through cds. Kate & I hyper ventilated. We walked around the back and around a cd rack, then behind him, and pretended we were looking at cds. and then i was like CASEY! and he turned around and said hey. kate like stuttered and said how awesome their show was and i asked for a picture. me & kate both got pictures with him.

we were heading out, thinking the night couldnt get any better, when we saw these girls. they told us JT was in Borders. Kate's like lets go! but i dragged her in anyway. he was on his way out... so these girls like stopped him in the middle of the sidewalk, and i went with them. I WAS NOT missing that oppertunity.

So i talked to him for a bit, then got a pic.
